On
July 21, 2010, Dr. Randy Hunter had the rewarding
opportunity to travel to Coronel Grenada of Buenos Aires,
Argentina, to meet with Senor Arnoldo Bernini, Director
General of Culture and Education, and the children of
Primary School Number 21.
This primary school houses and
educates elementary school-aged children who do not have
parents in their lives. The children are impoverished and
lacking in many of life’s basic necessities, and Dr. Hunter
brought a donation of hundreds of toothbrushes and other
oral care supplies to the school. While there, he also
taught the children about the importance of proper oral
health care and the insurmountable value of giving to
others.
Senor Bernini relayed his gratitude in
a letter to Dr. Hunter upon his return to the States. “This
gesture is worthy of standing out – even more so when the
ultimate recipients are the children of a sector of the
community with insufficient basic necessities.”
Drs.
Randy and Marie Hunter are pleased to be able to offer beautiful
smiles to their neighbors in Holly and the surrounding
communities.
Randy Hunter, DDS,
received his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy
School of Dentistry after attending Michigan State University.
He also served a sedation mini residency at Albert Einstein
Medical School. He has taken extensive postgraduate education
courses, including advanced endodontic training at the
prestigious Las Vegas Institute. Recent certification in
advanced cardiac life support allows him to offer medically safe
sedation to his patients, and with mini dental implant training
through 3M, he can provide mini dental implant therapies,
especially stabilized dentures, as an alternative for missing
teeth. He is a former co-host of the cable TV show It’s Your
Health and a current member of the American Dental Society
of Anesthesiology, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation,
American Dental Association, Pinnacle Study Club, and Summit
Study Group.
A recipient of the Proctor and Gamble Dental Research Award, Dr.
Hunter is an active participant in the community, taking dental
missionary trips to Africa and South America and serving as a
member of the Baker College Dental Assisting Program Advisory
Board. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting ducks and upland
game birds, and spending time with family and friends.

the University of Michigan before obtaining a dental degree with
honors from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
She attended Michigan State University and Oakland University
for her undergraduate education. A graduate of the Las Vegas
Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry, she also has postgraduate
training in implant restorations from the Zimmer Implant
Institute. Training in the All-on-4™ implant procedure allows
her to provide patients with beautiful, functional,
non-removable replacements for missing teeth. She is also a
former co-host of the cable TV show It’s Your Health
and a current member of the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry, Southern Lakes Multidisciplinary Study Group, and
Summit Study Group.
